Career Expo day with Khumbuzile Mkhabela

The Johannesburg Dream Centre (JDC) recently hosted a Career Expo where our very own khumbuzile Mkhabela presented on her role as SHEQ Manager. Khumbu inspired the girls with her tales of success, she not only works full time at IWC (Pty) Ltd, but also owns a small successful clothing boutique.

The event was held at the S’godiphola Secondary School in Cosmo City, Randburg and was attended by over 350 learners. The event included speakers from different career fields and exhibits by several companies, including ABASA (Association for Black Chartered Accountants, AFDA film school, the Insurance Institute of South Africa. The purpose of the exhibits were to expose the learners to as much available career options as possible.
